I live in the Pacific Northwest and in this quest to try coffee, I'm aiming to drink something from all the iconic places in Oregon. One of those is the Dutch Bros chain of coffee drive-thrus.
I checked the menu online and was surprised to find out a majority of their menu is simply variations on a basic mocha, which I've already tried and hated, but going here dictated that I gave it another try. It tasted less worse than the last mocha I tried, and much sweeter. In fact, it tastes mostly like syrup and sugar with a bitter coffee flavor chaser, and less like a hot chocolate that has been ruined with coffee.
Today I didn't have this drink until 1:30PM and I spent the morning exhausted to the point I was falling asleep at my desk by noon and had to take a quick 20 minute power nap before grabbing a bite to eat. Apparently, this caffeine shit is powerful.
