I figured a coffee drink with milk would be least offensive to me. I haven’t had a taste of coffee in years, but it didn’t taste as bad as I recall. It definitely had a bitter coffee taste but it was drowned out by mostly milk (also I forgot sugar). I felt pretty perked up after drinking it and did a couple big cycling workouts in the snow after.
I don’t know if I’m going to get beyond merely tolerating coffee flavor by the end of the month, but overall this isn’t nearly as bad as I feared.
